Bolat Akchulakov appointed Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan
By Government Decree, Bolat Akchulakov has been appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Bolat Akchulakov was born in Atyrau in 1971. In 1993, he graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in economics.
He began his career in 1994.
In 1995-1997, he worked as a Specialist, Head of the Department, Deputy Director of the Asset Management Department of the Central Asian Bank for Cooperation and Development.
In 1997-2003, he worked as Senior Expert, Manager, Deputy Division Head of the Tengiz project of NC Kazakhoil CJSC, Business Analyst, Strategic Planning Manager, and Chief Financial Officer of Commonwealth & British Services Ltd.
From 2003 to 2006 worked as Executive Director for asset management of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
In 2006-2008, he held the post of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2008-2011, he was Managing Director of NWF Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Director General of PSA LLP, Chairman of the Board of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
In 2012-2014, he held the post of Deputy Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September of 2014 � Director General of AlmexPetrochemical LLP. From February of 2016 � Director General of the Kazakhstan Association of Organizations of the Oil-and-Gas and Energy Complex KAZENERGY.
He is a recipient of the Order of Kurmet.
