Bishkek to host largescale festival for pregnant women for first time
MAMAfest an open festival of pregnant women and those planning to become pregnant will be held in Kyrgyzstan for the first time.
Gulnaza Halmanbetova, the project manager said the event will be held tomorrow, Aug. 8.
Leading specialists in breastfeeding, preparation for childbirth, a trainer in postnatal rehabilitation and a pediatrician will answer the questions of the festival participants. The program includes seminars from experts, thematic exhibitions, contests and master classes.
The project support is partly provided by the FLEX Alumni Program Grants, funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and administered by the American Councils for International Education.
