Bishkek hosts Forum ‘Days of Kazakhstan Medicine in Kyrgyz Republic’
The Forum Days of Kazakhstan Medicine in the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of health ministers of the two countries has begun in Bishkek.
The Forum is organized on the eve of the official visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan, to be held on Nov. 27, the press service of Kyrgyz Ministry of Health reported.
At the Forum leading heads of scientific centers of Kazakhstan present achievements of Kazakh health care. In addition, medical exhibition with the participation of leading medical organizations of the brotherly country is held as part of the Forum.
“We warmly welcome the delegation of Kazakhstan, headed by Minister of Health Mr. Birtanov. Presentations on the achievements of the health care system of the Republic of Kazakhstan in such areas as oncology, nuclear medicine, radiation diagnostics, pediatrics, reproductive medicine, surgery, traumatology, cardiology and other aspects of medicine are expected within the framework of the Days of Kazakhstan Medicine.
It is also planned to sign a number of Memorandums of Cooperation between public and private healthcare organizations of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which will give a new impetus to further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries in health care, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said.
