By the presidential decree Beibut Atamkulov appointed Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Beibut Atamkulov was born on May 19, 1964 in Alma-Ata region.
In 1986 he graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I. Lenin, metallurgical engineer; In 2000 he graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences.
From 1985 � smelter at copper plant of the Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine named after A.Zavenyagin.
From 1986 � smelter, master, senior master at refining plant, chief engineer of CBD, chief engineer, deputy chief of EER of the Chimkent lead plant.
From 1991 to 2006 � he worked in private sector � in leadership of the industrial enterprises.
From 2006 � Counsellor, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation.
