Bakytzhan Sagintayev visits one of the largest transport and logistics centers of the Aktobe region

Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the Aktobe transport and logistics center, which is capable of receiving and processing up to 70,000 tonnes of cargo annually, during his working visit to Aktobe region.

During his visit, Prime Minister was thoroughly acquainted with the center’s operating mechanism, conditions for storing food products and the packaging department. In addition, B. Sagintayev was informed about the indicators and plans of developing the logistical potential of the region, increasing cargo and passenger flows, taking into account instructions given in the Presidential Address.

The Aktobe transport and logistics center is a sales warehouse for A class products, servicing regions of West Kazakhstan. Here, via digital technologies, the whole chain of goods monitoring is computerized, in addition there is a line of packing workshops for 40 types of food products (sugar, rice, and cereal) and a railway branch for loading and unloading goods. In total, the TLC will receive and process cargo up to 70 thousand tonnes annually.

Recall, the Head of Sate outlined the development of a new Eurasian logistics infrastructure as one of the priorities for the country for the near future. In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out comprehensive work to ensure freedom of transit of goods, creation and modernization of transport corridors, as well as to improve the level of service and eliminate administrative barriers.
