Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited one of the largest transport and logistics centers in Aktobe region
During the visit of the site, the Prime Minister thoroughly examined mechanisms of the center, the conditions for storing food products and the packaging department. In addition, B.Sagintayev was informed about the indicators and plans for the development of the region’s logistics potential, increasing freight and passenger flows, taking into account the instructions given in the President’s Address.
The transport-logistic center in Aktobe is a warehouse for the sale of finished products of “A” class, serving the regions of western Kazakhstan. With the help of digital technologies, the whole chain of goods monitoring is computerized, in addition there is a line of packing workshop for 40 positions of groceries (sugar, rice and cereals) and a railway branch for loading and unloading goods. In total, the transport-logistic center will receive and process cargo up to 70 thousand tons per year.
It should be reminded that the Head of the State has defined the development of the new Eurasian logistics infrastructure as one of the important priorities for the country for the near future. In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out comprehensive work to ensure freedom of transit of goods, create and modernize transport corridors, as well as to improve service level and eliminate administrative barriers.
