Bakytzhan Sagintayev takes part in the National Day of Belarus on the premises of EXPO 2017

Today in Astana, on the premises of the EXPO 2017 exhibition, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov, who is in Kazakhstan on a working visit, took part in the National Day of Belarus.

The exhibition’s theme � Energy of the Future is closely related to the implementation of the principles of the National Strategy for sustainable social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus until 2020.

During his speech, Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the Pavilion displays the latest innovative developments of Belarusian scientists relating to Energy of the Future: production of energy-saving and eco-friendly equipment and machinery, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, energy conservation and energy efficiency.

Within the framework of the National Day of Belarus, the Heads of Governments of Kazakhstan and Belarus were shown a presentation on the GreatStone industrial park, which is an integral part of the international project Silk Way Economic Belt.

Among the projects presented at the pavilion, Bakytzhan Sagintayev liked and singled out the model of an electric bus, the technologies and engineering of which are completely in line with the exhibition’s theme and must be presented in cities and villages in the near future,

Later, the Prime Ministers visited Kazakhstan’s national pavilion Nur Alem, where Andrei Kobyakov was introduced to Kazakhstan’s history, culture, traditions, sites and latest achievements. In the course of the tour of the exhibition, they visited the Museum of the Future, which displays the main energy types � of space, sun, biomass, wind, water, and kinetics.

In conclusion, the Heads of Governments left notes in the book of honored guests of the pavilion of the Republic of Belarus.
