Bakytzhan Sagintayev inspects the “Smart poultry plant” project in Rudny

Today, as part of his working trip to Kostanay region, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the Zhas Kanat-2006 LLP in Rudny where he got acquainted with the pilot project Smart Poultry Plant implemented within the framework of the Digital Kazakhstan State Program.

During the visit to the enterprise, Director of Zhas Kanat-2006 LLP Kairat Maishev spoke about modernization within the framework of the Business Roadmap 2020. In general, the enterprise passed three stages of modernization, all necessary infrastructure was created, the most high-tech equipment was purchased. Investments amount to more than 3 billion tenge.

Process automation allowed increasing egg production from 7 million to 250 million eggs per year, or about 35 times, meat from 30 to 500 tonnes or 15 times. The number of bird places was increased from 100 thousand to 1.4 million or 14 times. Labor productivity has grown more than 1.5 times.

In the sorting shop B. Sagintayev was demonstrated the Japanese equipment Nabel, the capacity of which is 120 thousand eggs per hour. New technologies have allowed abandoning manual product marking and sorting. In addition, the company launched production of tray products. Automation of production allows transporting and packing up to one million eggs per an 8-hour work day.

The products are sold in all regions of the country, and also exported to Russia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. This year, new markets are being tested in Iran and China.

At the same time, in the next three years it is planned to invest about 2 billion tenge in digital technologies. The implementation of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system will improve the quality of technological processes and promptly solve operational issues, even remotely. In addition, as part of further modernization, the possibility of launching an automatic line for advanced processing of eggs, meat and other products is being considered.

Also in order to develop import substitution, the construction of a pedigree reproducer equipped with fully automated equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers is planned for 2019-2021. The implementation of this project will reduce imports by 40%.

– Electronic weighing system for primary products;

– Fully automated process of preparation of mixed fodders;

– Modern cellular equipment with automatic systems;

– Automatic transportation of eggs to the sorting shop;

– Modern automatic sorting machine;

– Automatic bird slaughter line.
