Bakytzhan Sagintayev inspects the construction of houses under the “Nurly Zher” Program in Aktobe

by March 30, 2017 Key Issues

During his working trip to the Aktobe region, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited a pilot project for building pre-fab low-rise loan housing within the framework of the Nurly Zher Program.

During his visit, B. Sagintayev was reported on the progress of construction houses in the residential complex “Nur Aktobe”, the features of the design decision and the quality of the apartments being erected. It should be noted that 65% of materials used in construction are produced by local enterprises.

A total of at least 500 low-rise apartment houses are planned to be built in the Aktobe region in 2017 under the Program, which will provide comfortable housing for at least 700 families in the housing queue. This is especially important for this region, since here as per Presidential instructions a large agglomeration will be created, and Aktobe itself should become a modern urban center.

It should be reminded that the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev in his Presidential Address Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness” outlined the implementation of “Nurly Zher” as one of the priorities for the Government for the near future, as it is intended to provide housing to 1.5 million families in the forthcoming 15 years.

It should be noted that the Program contains complex measures to develop the housing market. Among them cheaper bank loans for developers through government subsidies, as well as subsidizing mortgage loans for the population.
