Bakytzhan Sagintayev inspected public health facilities in Aktobe
During his working trip to Aktobe region, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited emergency medical service and an ophthalmologic hospital “Kuz Zharyy”, which are under construction within the framework of public-private partnership.During the visit to the station, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan was informed that the hospital will provide free round-the-clock emergency medical care to the population with life-threatening conditions both at the scene and along the route and also got acquainted with the current course of construction.
After that, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the ophthalmologic hospital “Koz Zharyy”, where he was informed about the structure, strategy and purpose of the rehabilitation medical center for ophthalmology.
The opening of the hospital is scheduled on November this year. The hospital is designed for 60 beds in recovery and 250 visits per shift is allowed. The contribution of investors to this project exceeds 3 billion tenge. After commissioning, the medical institution will provide outpatient and inpatient highly specialized ophthalmic care for children and adults in western region of the country.
It should be noted that the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out a large-scale work on the formation of a modern healthcare system in the country within the framework of the President’s Message “The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness”, in which the qualitative development of human capital is indicated as a prerequisite for economic growth. In this regard, the development and successful implementation of the principles of public-private partnership in the country is of great importance.
