Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting on regional development
Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev started a series of workshops on issues of achieving the target indicators for 2018 regarding economic growth, labor productivity, attracting investments, providing employment and creating new jobs for the country’s regions.
In the course of the meeting, Akims of Almaty B. Baybek and Almaty region A. Batalov reported on the work done to develop the agro-industrial complex, tourism, trade, transport and logistics, education, healthcare, mass entrepreneurship, industrialization, technological renewal and digitalization, and to secure productive employment.
The discussions saw participation of Ministers of National Economy T. Suleimenov, Investment and Development � Zh. Kassymbek, Information and Communication � D. Abayev, Education and Science � Y. Sagadiyev, Culture and Sport � A. Mukhamediuly, Labor and Social Protection of Population � M. Abylkassymova, Deputy Ministers of Agriculture G. Issayeva, Healthcare � L. Aktayeva.
The results for the first quarter have been summed up and the points of growth for 2018 have been determined. The hearing of regional Akims continues.
