Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting on improving the processes of providing public services to the population
Today at Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on improving the processes of providing public services to the population within the framework of implementing the Presidential Address Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness.
The meeting discussed issues of introducing new technologies in the processes of providing public services through the State Corporation Government for Citizens.
In his Address, the Head of State noted that processes of providing public services must be optimized as much as possible. It is necessary to shorten the time and the list of documents needed, to eliminate duplicate procedures and to translate the procedures into an electronic format eliminating obligatory physical presence. One of such directions must be the transition to proactive services without the involvement of the service recipient.
The State Corporation “Government for Citizens” was established by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January 29, 2016, and is a single provider of public services that provides services through front offices, self-service sectors, mobile Public Service Centers, rural postal offices.
Currently, there are 723 state services in the Service Registry, of which 548 are available through the State Corporation, more than 75% of which are “one-stop-shop”.
