Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting on EXPO-2017
Today at Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting of the State Commission for preparation and holding of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.
The meeting discussed issues of attendance and security, as well as the possibility of using new technologies presented at the international pavilions of EXPO-2017 in Kazakhstan.
Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Astana Expo-2017 A. Yessimov reported that today is the 18th day of the exhibition, and all 115 countries and 22 international organizations that confirmed their participation have already ensured functioning of their pavilions.
The International Bureau of Exhibitions notes that this is the first time when all the pavilions began operating in such a short time.
According to A. Yessimov, more than 400 thousand people visited the exhibition since its opening; the average number of visitors per day is 24 thousand people.
