Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting of the State Commission on Economic Modernization


Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the State Commission on Economic Modernization.

The discussion focused on issues of implementing the privatization program for 2016-2020, as well as the development of business entities in the manufacturing industry. In particular, proposals of working groups on ways and methods of sale and pre-sale preparation of quasi-public sector facilities were considered.

In addition, the State Commission approved the approaches to further financing the investment project Construction of the Saryarka main gas pipeline, implemented within the framework of the President’s Five Social Initiatives, and the construction of infrastructure facilities for the special economic zone National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark.
