Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting of the Industrial Development Board

Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular session of the Industrial Development Board.

The meeting focused on issues of updating and developing a new list of projects of the Republic’s Industrialization Map for 20152019.

Minister of Investments and Development Zh. Kassymbek noted in his speech that the current Map includes 28 projects, among which are 22 projects with an approved deadline for a total of 6.7 trillion tenge, expected to open up 19.8 thousand permanent positions, as well as 6 other promising projects. To date, within the framework of the Map, 6 projects for the amount of 2.2 trillion tenge have been put into operation, creating 4.3 thousand jobs. It is proposed to supplement the Map with three new projects totaling 456.2 billion tenge, which would create 1.2 thousand permanent jobs. The launch of these projects is scheduled for 20172021.

Following the meeting, the Prime Minister gave a number of specific instructions to the responsible state bodies with regards to updating the Industrialization Map for 20152019.
