Bakytzhan Sagintayev discusses prospects for deepening economic relations with Serbian President A. Vucic

Today at Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with President of the Republic of Serbia Alexander Vucic.

The meeting discussed the prospects for deepening trade-economic relations, cooperation in the sphere of investments and implementation of joint projects in agriculture, electric power industry, and implementation of the Smart city system, waste management, etc.

In addition, they reviewed the results of the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the exhibition EXPO-2017.

The agreement on Serbia’s participation in EXPO-2017 was signed within the framework of the visit of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev to Serbia on August 23-25, 2016.

The national day of Serbia at the exhibition is June 28, 2017.

At the exhibition, Serbia will present its achievements in the field of alternative energy development, including using renewable energy sources.
