Bakytzhan Sagintayev discusses prospects for cooperation in the field of innovation and digitalization with participants of Digital Bridge forum
At the meetings, an exchange of views took place on the development of digitalization, innovation and the introduction of modern developments in various sectors of the economy, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the creation and development of large-scale projects in the areas of digital development and automated systems were discussed.
With the Co-founder of the Global Catalyst Partners Foundation Kamran Elahian, the development of industries in the context of modern and high-tech solutions aimed at creating the digital economy was discussed. As Sagintayev noted, the Digital Kazakhstan state program sets ambitious goals: it focuses on introducing the latest technologies, reducing digital inequality, and ensuring high-speed internet.

In the framework of the bilateral meeting with the managing director of AP-Swiss Jose Achache, attention was paid to the development of the space sector in Kazakhstan, the prospects for cooperation in the field of food security, water management, transport logistics and security, renewable energy sources.

The meeting of Prime Minister Sagintayev with Startup Genome Executive Director Jean-Francois Gauthier touched upon the creation of a productive ecosystem of start-ups based on the Astana Hub International Technopark, where the necessary favorable conditions for attracting technology entrepreneurs from around the world were formed.
The Prime Minister noted that this direction today is one of the priorities outlined in the State Program Digital Kazakhstan.
Founded by Gauthier in 2014, the Startup Genome social platform has more than 300 partners in 25 countries. The company’s mission is to support its own startup ecosystems of promising cities. Over the past seven years, the company has provided the opportunity to create the most comprehensive start-up research in the world, taking into account data from global and local partners. Another function of Startup Genome is to analyze startup errors and search for their solutions. After analyzing the activities of more than 15 thousand companies, the founders of Startup Genome published two reports and created a special application that allows to evaluate the activities of a particular startup.
