B. Sagintayev partakes in Eurasian Intergovernmental Councils meeting
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev took part in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Councils meeting in Minsk.
The meeting covered the EAEU budget for 2017, draft agreement on the EAEU Customs Code, activities aimed at tracing the commodities in the EAEU member counties, EEC international activities, as well as a range of organizational issues.
According to Prime Minister B.Sagintayev, the meeting was focused on a wide range of topical issues of interaction within the EAEU, as well as on ways of further development of integration association.
The meeting resulted in signing of a number of multilateral documents. In particular, an agreement on free trade zone was signed with Vietnam. About 40 states have shown interest.
This year under Kazakhstans chairmanship of the EAEU has been declared by the President of Kazakhstan the year of the deepening economic relations between the EAEU and third countries and key integration associations.
