B. Sagintayev instructs to take measures to staff clinics and ensure social support for doctors


Having heard the reports of Minister of Health Yelzhan Birtanov and regional Akims on the issues of improving the quality of medical services as part of the update of the Densaulyk Healthcare Development Program for 2016�2019, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave a number of specific instructions on current health issues.

According to the stated information, there is an increase in the quality of health care in many respects (a decrease in infant mortality, mortality from diseases of the circulatory system, cancer and tuberculosis). At the same time, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev drew attention to the timeliness of execution by regional Akimats of the approved targets of the state program.

In this regard, the Ministry of Healthcare has been instructed to consider the proposals of Akims and work out additional mechanisms to further enhance the work within the framework of the State Program.

The Ministry of Healthcare has been tasked with systematizing work on the provision of medicines, medical products and personnel, as well as solving problems relating to the physical conditions of health facilities and the provision of modern medical equipment. It is necessary to more actively use the mechanism of public-private partnership for the development of healthcare infrastructure, equipment with medical hardware.

The Ministries of Healthcare, Education and Science, together with the Akimats of the regions, have been instructed to take measures to train and staff clinics and hospitals with medical personnel, especially narrow specialists, improve their skills, ensure their social support.
