B. Sagintayev discusses the President’s article “The Course toward Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness” with Kyzylorda region’s intellectual class

In Kyzylorda region, during a visit to the Syganak settlement, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with representatives of the scientific and creative intellectual community of the region and discussed issues of implementing projects of the program article of the Head of State “Bolashakka Bagdar: Ruhani Zhangyru” (The Course toward Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness).

The basis for political and economic reforms is advanced modernization of public consciousness. Key concerns of the President’s program article are: openness of public consciousness, nurturing the qualities of a Kazakhstani of the future, developing best traditions and new values, synthesis of traditions and culture with market principles and advanced technologies.

In this regard, the special importance of preserving national identity is emphasized, including through implementing projects Tughan Zher and Kazakhstan’s Sacral Geography, aimed at nurturing patriotism through knowledge of one’s native land and preserving national identity

The Government is working on creating a list of sacral objects across the whole country, including Kyzylorda region, which will be included in the Sacral Belt of the country and become drivers of tourism industry development.

Opinions on this topic were voiced by journalist, deputy of the regional Maslikhat Sh. Abdykarimov, writer A. Almatov, head of the Archeology and Geography research center A. Tazhekeyev, employee of the regional museum of local lore A. Sailau.

During the visit to the settlement, director of the archeological research center K. Zhetibayev said that currently in Syganak, a mosque-madrassa and gates in the north-eastern part of the site have been opened and cleared, conservation efforts are underway. The settlement is a monument of national importance and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage preliminary list.
