Management of the High Technology Park of Kyrgyzstan has been replaced. Azis Abakirov was elected the new head of the Directorate. Official page of the department on Facebook says.
The Supervisory Board made the decision to change the director.
Azis Abakirov is the founder of the High Technology Park. Previously, he has already been its director and took up this post again.
Azis Abakirov was born on October 7, 1980 in Bishkek. In 2002 he graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies (Japan, Japanese language) of the Zhusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University. He completed an internship at the Japan International Cooperation Agency. In 2011, he participated in the program of the Rumsfeld Foundation «Young Leaders of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Afghanistan, Mongolia» in Washington (USA). In 2008, he founded the Kyrgyz Association of Software and Services Developers. He had been the chairman of the association for 12 years. In 2011, he founded the High Technology Park of Kyrgyzstan, which at first united only a few companies. To date, there are already about 300 of them in the High Technology Park.
In 2016, he founded an IT academy, its branches are located almost throughout the republic now.
Chubak Temirov, the former head of the High Toechnology Park, became its deputy director.
