Astana to show performance about first Kazakh participated in EXPO

On December 6 the Palace of Peace and Accord will hold a premiere titled “Amre”. It’s a play about the first Kazakh who presented the national culture in Europe.

The staging will talk about the plight of musician Amre Kashaubayev, who took part in the World EXPO in Paris in 1925. The artists of the State Academic Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre named after K.Kuanyshbayev, the department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Astana will performe in the play.

For the performance of songs in Kazakh language Amre Kashaubayev gained recognition among the European audiences and connoisseurs of art and was awarded prizes and medals. Later the gifted Kazakh was invited to perform in Germany.
