“Astana – Mey?r?md? Qala” Campaign Has Given Joy to a Large Family
A large family from Astana has received social assistance in the framework of “Astana – Mey?r?md? Qala” campaign. The mother of four children Ayaulym Yerkebayeva huddles together with her spouse in several square meters of shared apartment in a residential area of the capital. Wage of her husband is barely enough for the needs of the four kids and rent; therefore, the woman is working additionally as a plongeur in one of the city’s cafes.
On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the country’s Independence, social assistance from concerned citizens came very opportunely, as the woman says. Moreover, today her first-born Ali celebrates his 9th birthday. One-time financial assistance, food package, tickets for children’s New Year’s celebration and birthday present were handed over from all the staff by representatives of the capital’s Office of Public Utilities.
“Astana – Mey?r?md? Qala” campaign is gaining its momentum; we’ve provided all possible assistance to people in need within it. When examining the apartment, we saw that the family lives in a very difficult financial situation and critical conditions. Therefore, our entire team has decided to support and make our major contribution. It’s pleasant to bring joy, especially to children. The idea of the campaign is bringing us together and gives motivation to accomplish good deeds”, – says the Head of the Personnel Management Department of Astana Office of Public Utilities State Institution Gulnara Aidanbekova.
The eldest son Ali is in the second grade, his seven-year old sister Aisha also attends the first grade, daughter Asma who is 4 and the two-year youngest son Abubakir are educated at home, says Ayaulym. Now the kids have an opportunity to witness the New Year’s show, visit a fabulous celebration and see the Father Frost.
“I am very glad, it is indeed a New Year surprise for us on the eve of the national holiday. Children are never too many. As long as we have strength, we are ready to raise and educate them in a patriotic spirit. There were even worse days, but still in these moments we feel the support of the state, warmth and care. Congratulations to all the citizens on the Independence Day!” – said Ayaulym Yerkebayeva, expressing her gratitude for the provided assistance.
