The experts have confirmed the rating of Astana at Baa3 level based on the results of the analysis of the current balance and economic development of the city.

According to the agency, the change in the credit solvency of the Kazakhstani capital was influenced by: “high fulfillment of the current budget, moderate debt load and low refinancing risks, significant amounts of government funding for the development of local infrastructure, dynamically developing economy of the city”.

Decrease in the system pressure, which was reflected in the change in the outlook on the rating of government bonds of the Republic of Kazakhstan to “stable”, has been also noted.
