Astana discussed issues of implementation of Industry 4.0
The event was organized by the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan in the framework of the project “Promotion of Industrial Metrology” of the Federal Physical-Technical Institute of Germany. The participants considered aspects of development of a new stage of industrial development “Industry 4.0”.
The participants of the seminar – the leading experts of the German Institute for the automation of production processes named Fraunhofer (Fraunhofer), Christian Teutsch. He told the Kazakh experts on the basic principles and approaches to the implementation of Industry 4.0 and experience of Germany.
Another expert of the Institute of Fraunhofer Eric Trostman in his report highlighted the role of measurement issues in the process of digitalization of the industry, the development of new measurement methods and aspects of their practical application. He gave examples of the latest developments in the field of optical measurements, which are most in demand in connection with the introduction of digital technology.
The workshop with the participation of German experts is one of the activities planned by the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, in order to create conditions in Kazakhstan for the introduction of advanced industrial technology and the transition to new production methods in accordance with Industry 4.0. In particular, the development of the necessary regulatory framework (standards) and the provision of necessary testing methods and measurements that allow domestic enterprises to implement these technologies in manufacturing practices.
