Askar Mamin: Ferry complex of Kuryk port to strengthen export and transit potential of economy
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited the Mangystau region, where inspected construction of ferry complex at the Kuryk port.
Nurly Zhol programs project is implemented by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
The First Deputy Prime Minister was informed on the final stage of constructing the first starting complex of Kuryk port, which will be commissioned by the year-end.
The ferry complex of Kuryk port is an important link in the transport and logistics system of the Trans-Caspian international transport route. It will give a powerful impetus to the development of transit-transport potential of Kazakhstan and contribute to the New Silk Road project implementation, A.Mamin said.
The ferry complex of Kuryk port will serve five ferries a day, ensuring thereby the handling of goods in the amount of 4 million tons a year.
