Artificial intelligence will be implemented in eGov.kz
Elements of artificial intelligence and the Internet of things will be introduced into the portal of the electronic government of Kazakhstan, ortcom.kz reports with reference to the MIA “Kazinform”.
According to a study of the level of e-government development conducted by the UN, in 2018, Kazakhstan ranked 39th in the group with a high level of development. At the same time, by the level of maturity, our e-government is at the eGov 2.0 stage. Currently, within the framework of the state program Digital Kazakhstan, we are working on the transition to the eGov 3.0 stage, which has already been mastered by countries such as South Korea, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Sweden. What characterizes the eGov 3.0 stage? First of all, it is the introduction of such elements as artificial intelligence, proactive services, digitized life moments, the Internet of things and others, said the Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev, speaking at a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the minister, the full transition to the eGov 3.0 stage is planned for 2021. Although already a number of its elements are either implemented, or are at the stage of implementation.
For example, integration of information systems is being carried out, elements of artificial intelligence are being introduced in the framework of the Smart Bridge project, proactive services are being implemented.
Meanwhile, as informed by Dauren Abaev, within the framework of improving the regulatory framework, a bill was drafted, which contains a number of amendments aimed at optimizing 121 public services.
