The Kazakhstan Center for Modernization and Development of Housing and Utilities and Jasmin Limited have signed a memorandum of cooperation. Its purpose is to promote PowerSleeve and AquaWrap technologies (USA) for the development of housing and communal services in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The use of these proven technologies in the global market will dramatically extend the life cycles and enhance water and heat supply – water intake. It should also be noted that these technologies are not environmentally friendly and have a negative impact on the environment.

Adilkhan Omirbayev, Director of the Board of JSC “KazSatOil”, emphasized that the essence of technology is to increase the strength and durability of pipelines (up to 20 years, according to the company) by introducing special materials and application of special adhesives.

Today, large diameter plastic tubes can not withstand high temperatures and pressure. At present, negotiations are underway with the Astana Su Arnasy JSC on the implementation of the pilot project, the first phase involves the launch of the technology for the use of these technologies for plastic drainage pipes.

At present, together with the state-owned enterprise “Kostanay thermal power company”, the work on the selection of the above-mentioned technologies in the field of metal pipes is being conducted on the site of Kostanay region.

If positive results of pilot projects have been achieved, the problem of widespread use in all regions of Kazakhstan will be considered. At the same time, the problem of isolation of production in our country is considered.

The use of these technologies will improve the process of modernization and will reduce the cost of renovating and upgrading new and existing utility networks.

JSC “KazMunayGas” is implementing the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021 to attract the most advanced and effective foreign technologies for the development of housing and communal services. In particular, they are working on improving the energy efficiency of the industry and developing the national innovation system in architecture, as well as the development of urban planning and construction.
