Amendments to Constitution considered in Senate Committee

The bill was designed to improve the efficiency of the public administration system and further democratization of the political system.

The standing committees supported the draft law, as well as the proposals made during the joint session of the Chambers of the Parliament, which were approved in the first reading.

Finally, the Committees’ conclusions were introduced in the joint commission of the Chambers of the Parliament. The joint commission representing the Senate of the Parliament includes Serik Akylbai, Byrganym Aitimova, Askar Beissenbayev, Kairat Ishchanov, Dulat Kustavletov, Dariga Nazarbayeva, Lyudmila Poltorabatko.

The Commission will prepare a final comparative table before the second reading for consideration at the joint session of Chambers of the Parliament on 6 March.
