Agriculture Ministry: A special website will be developed to service agricultural cooperatives
During today’s press conference following the meeting of the Government, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Arman Yevniyev spoke about the changes in the current target indicators of the AIC Development State Program.
Throughout the world, cooperation is a powerful tool for the development of labor productivity, business. Therefore, within the framework of the current state program, as part of its update, we approached the issue of cooperation development as a sectoral subprogram, one of the tools that will enable us to achieve the task set by the Head of State – to increase labor productivity and export of processed products 2.5 times in five years, Arman Yevniyev said.
Meanwhile, according to the Deputy Minister, the true purpose of cooperatives is so that cooperative members receive income, increase their labor productivity. If they produce more with the same resources, on the same plot of land, with the same amount of livestock, they will make more money, develop their business.
According to the speaker, a special website will be created to service the cooperatives, where each cooperative will have to register.
The site will provide an opportunity to automate the collection of information and monitoring of cooperative data, evaluate the results, and allow for keeping records of workplaces and labor productivity of each participant. Here, the cooperative members will be trained in digital literacy. The establishment of a rating between cooperatives and participants will contribute to the growth of their competitiveness.
The information system will become a tool for participants in agricultural production cooperatives (APC) to motivate, analyze, train, manage and evaluate performance.
Now we plan to invite IT-business to participate in the agriculture digitalization state program, one of the elements of which will be the creation of a portal. In addition, we actively involve NCE Atameken, A. Yevniyev said.
Recall, today’s Government session chaired by Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev focused on the issue of further development of agricultural cooperation. The key participants in the program for the development of cooperation will be the Ministry of Agriculture, the Akimats and the NCE. The Ministry is responsible for strategy, state support, legislation. Local executive bodies should ensure, first of all, the access of cooperatives to the markets, the formation of sectoral regional cooperation. The NCE Atameken will provide training, consulting, and marketing services.
