Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under General Prosecutor’s Office of Kazakhstan and ENU signed Memorandum on Cooperation

The corresponding memorandum was signed by the rector of ENU Yerlan Sydykov and acting Rector of Academy of Law Enforcement Nail Akhmetzakirov.

“ENU is one of the best classical universities in Kazakhstan with a three-level training system and a research base. We will proudly say that we have a new important partner represented by your university. Today, for us, the main task is to improve the image of law enforcement officers through knowledge. We have no such a rich faculty and in this regard we expect huge methodological assistance from you”, – N. Akhmetzakirov noted.

During the meeting the acting Rector of Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office acquainted the faculty of ENU with the main stages of the formation and development of the Academy, the prospects for further development in the context of the implementation of the new large-scale project – “Program of Changes”.

The document was developed on the initiative of the Prosecutor General Zhakip Assanov and is aimed at a qualitative transformation of the Prosecutor’s Office. The most important priority of the program is the education of employees of the new formation, the enhancement of the knowledge base and the system of continuous education, new methods of personnel selection and the development of meritocracy.

E. Sydykov also noted the importance of this meeting and expressed interest in training of high-qualified personnel for the country’s legal system.

“The doors of our university are always opened to you. We have one goal – everything is done to train qualitative specialists. Therefore, it is very important for us to interact with the relevant departments. The knowledge and experience of prosecutors’ employees, employees of other law enforcement agencies is also very necessary for students. Therefore, we will invite specialists to meetings, master classes for our students”, – Ye. Sydykov said.

The signing of the Memorandum between 2 educational institutions consolidates efforts aimed at improving educational activities, conducting joint educational and fundamental researches.
