A. Mamin inspects infrastructure and industrial projects in Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, during his working visit to Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, inspected the progress of the reconstruction of the Center-East highway, and also got acquainted with the implementation of industrial projects in the regions.

The First Deputy Prime Minister, having traveled along the highway Astana-Pavlodar, got acquainted with the construction of the Center-East route and after hearing reports of the heads of NC KazAvtoZhol and contractors, held a meeting on the development of the National highway network.

The total length of highways of national importance in three regions � Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan is 7345km. Along the road corridor Center-East, 404 km of road put into operation, 501 km of the road was repaired and reconstructed. All works are carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

Within the framework of the trip A. Mamin got acquainted with the state of road service facilities. Currently 530 road service facilities of categories A, B, C, D are located along the highways of National importance of Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, until the end of 2018 another 16 facilities will be put into operation.

Askar Mamin visited the modular pavilion Kazway, located on the 28 km of the bypass of Astana. The pavilion is equipped with modern ventilation and heating system, video surveillance system, wireless Wi-Fi, vacuum toilet and other advanced technologies, providing a comfortable and reliable stay in the facility. By the end of this year, 12 modular pavilions are planned to be opened on the Astana-Shchuchinsk, Astana-Temirtau, Almaty-Kapshagai, Borovskoye ring (entering Borovoye), and the Astana bypass.

Following the results of the inspection, A. Mamin instructed NC KazAvtoZhol to open traffic on 905 km of the corridor Center � East, set the task to complete the project in 2019.

The First Deputy Prime Minister visited the Bozshakolsky ore mining and processing enterprise and got acquainted with the technological process of production of copper concentrate and development of mining operations.

The process of casting of wheel sets, the production of turnouts, crosses and repair kits for the railway industry was presented at Prommashkomplekt LLP. The First Deputy Prime Minister also got acquainted with the activities of a number of facilities in the territory of the SEZ Pavlodar.

At the Pavlodar petrochemical plant, Askar Mamin was briefed on the modernization of the enterprise, which provided an increase in the productivity of processing crude oil, improving the quality of motor fuels to meet the requirements of K-4 standards for gasoline, K-5 diesel. The project allowed to introduce energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, automation of management, rational use of natural resources and increase the effectiveness of environmental measures.

In East Kazakhstan region, the First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the work of defense and civil defense enterprises: Semey Engineering JSC and Semipalatinsk Machine Building Plant.

During the visit to the Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise LLP, A. Mamin was informed about the launch in 2018 of a new ore enrichment plant.

In Semey, the First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the progress of the expansion and reconstruction of RK-1, where commissioning works are underway to modernize the technological equipment of thermal sources and main heat networks.

A. Mamin visited a number of social facilities, including the new microdistrict Karaghayli, which was built under the Nurly Zher program and a kindergarten for 320 children.
