From July 16 to July 19, the Seoul Asan Charitable Foundation plans to provide free medical services and assistance to those who need examination and treatment in Bishkek, Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic Pak Ki Sok at a meeting with Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that this initiative project is aimed at improving the availability of medical care and support for the population of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to preliminary data, about 90 volunteer doctors of various profiles (surgeons, cardiologists, dentists, ENT, ophthalmologists, allergists, plastic surgeons, pediatricians) will conduct examinations and provide medical care and consultations to Kyrgyzstanis absolutely free of charge. Korean specialists will bring medicines and equipment necessary for operations and examinations. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova expressed her gratitude to the consul of Korea for his support and interest in improving medical care in Kyrgyzstan. She noted that the arrival of volunteer doctors will be another step in the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of medicine and improving the quality of healthcare in the Kyrgyz Republic.
