43 tourism objects commissioned in Almaty region in 2016

By support of the region’s administration, the creation of an appropriate infrastructure on the share of Alakol lake is being resolved today.

So, within Business Roadmap-2020 program, 93.8 km of new transmission lines were stretched to the village of Akshi. 610.9 million tenge were allocated from the budget for these purposes. Considerable attention is also paid to tourism logistics. Design estimate documentation for reconditioning of roads has been developed, and since 2015 railway passenger transportation from the local budget is subsidized.

By data, the planned work carried out by local executive bodies, already now gives qualitative results. In 2016 the number of tourists reached about a semi-million indicator in the season. Now the increase in the flow of tourists is facilitated by the launch of regular flights through Usharal airport.

It is noted that the construction and assembly works of the airport were started in 2015. For implementation of this project 896.9 million tenge are allocated from the budget. At this stage a new air strip is reconstructed at the new airport, and necessary radio technical and meteorological equipment is updated. Construction of the airport is planned to be completed by the new bathing suit season.
