3750 Karaganda schoolchildren to visit EXPO
“At the expense of the budget EXPO will be visited by 3750 schoolchildren of the region – gifted children, orphans and children from low-income families. The regional budget allocated funds on a trip of 1,050 schoolchildren – gifted children and inmates of orphanages. At the expense of the local budget, the exhibition will be visited by 2,700 children from cities and districts – these are socially protected categories and gifted students”, head of the regional entrepreneurship department Tatyana Ablayeva said.
According to Governor’s Office, the trip will last two days. The program includes a visit to the EXPO site and excursions around the capital. Karaganda children will be accommodated in the hostel of capital’s polytechnic college. The food will be organized. The excursions will last until the close of the exhibition on September 10.
As previously reported, residents of Karaganda region have already purchased more than 90 thousand tickets for the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
