The practice of consulting on employment in the mosques has been started in Astana. The twice weekly – on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 15:00 – the capital’s Employment Center experts are assisting the attenders in finding jobs. During this time, more than 200 people have addressed to the staff of the Employment Center, including 25 of them who received assignments for employment in their professional fields.

“It is likely that one goes immediately go to the employer with its assignment. Often unemployed visit the employer on the second and third days and thus miss the position. Today 15 people have made requests, five of them received assignments”, – says the expert of the Employment Center Kanat Zhumabayev, who carries out his activities in “Hazrat Sultan” mosque.

According to the expert, technical specialists such as electricians, plumbers and welders are still in demand in the labor market.

Apart from the mosques, the mobile teams, whose mission is to offer current jobs from the database of the Employment Center, carry out their activities in the Central Market and “Shanghai” market. The objective is to cover as many unemployed people as possible in order to reduce the unemployment rate in the capital.
