2.4 trillion Tenge to be allocated by the Government for implementing the “Third Modernization of Kazakhstan”
The Government will allocate 2.4 trillion tenge for implementing the priorities set in the Presidential Address Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global competiveness. This was reported at the Government meeting by the Minister of Finance Bakhyt Sultanov, presenting the updated draft of the national budget for years 2017-2019.
According to him, the priority direction for the expenditure budget update is implementation of the Presidential Address. For these purposes the budget provides 2435 billion tenge.
In particular, the Address will be implemented through following means: accelerated economy modernization � 231 billion tenge; fundamental improvement and expansion of the business environment � 0.7 billion tenge; macroeconomic stability – 2093.1 billion tenge; improving the quality of the human capital � 86.2 billion tenge; institutional change, security and the fight against corruption � 23.9 billion tenge.
Following the meeting Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed to provide the Majilis with the forecast of socio-economic development and the budget bill, today, in due course.
