According to the information of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, the largest spread among registered infectious diseases in January – December 2019 arose: upper respiration tract infection – 539.2 thousand cases, functional diarrhea – 12.3 thousand, respiratory tuberculosis – 8.4 thousand, chickenpox – 41.8 thousand, flu – 2.2 thousand, scabies – 669, measles – 576, whooping cough – 147. In 2019, 12 cases of anthrax were registered (in 2018, 2 cases).

The greatest spread of registered diseases by regions:

• in Kyzylorda region – functional diarrhea (4450 cases);

• in Nur-Sultan – influenza (232 cases) and intestinal infections (1189 cases);

• in Almaty region – tuberculosis of the respiratory system (889 cases) and syphilis (412 cases);

• in East Kazakhstan region – rotavirus enteritis (187 cases);

• in Mangistau region – pediculosis (243 cases).

The largest volume of health services provided is observed in the city of Almaty: 68.6 billion tenge (+ 3.1% per year). The top three regions included Nur-Sultan (62.8 billion tenge) and Karaganda region (29.1 billion tenge). In East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions, the volume of services amounted to 25 billion and 24.7 billion tenge, respectively
