11 social facilities built in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast, another 70 under construction

Since the beginning of 2019, 11 new facilities have been commissioned in Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast, and another 6 facilities are expected to be commissioned by the end of the year, the press service of the Batken Oblast state administration said Monday.

According to information, 70 social facilities are still under construction in the oblast: 31 educational institutions, 11 kindergartens, 2 gyms, 9 medical institutions, 2 cultural objects and other objects.

In 2019, KGS 326 million were allocated from the state budget for capital investments, KGS 219 million of which have already been spent.

Yesterday, Dec. 8 Batken Oblast Governor Akram Madumarov got acquainted with the course of construction of the new Media Center building, for the construction of which KGS 38 million were allocated from the republican budget, KGS 25 million of which have already been mastered.

The new Media Center will be equipped with all modern equipment, appliances and furniture. Opening of the Media Center is expected by May 2020.
