President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Thursday President of Otandastar Foundation (Kazakhstan) Nurtai Abykayev and Head of the Representative Office of Kazakhstan President in the Parliament Beibit Isabaev, his press service said.
The Kyrgyz leader noted with satisfaction that today in connection with the 30th anniversary of independence of the two countries, Days of Culture of Kazakhstan are held in Bishkek.
He emphasized that the two brotherly peoples are united by common history and traditions, and Beibit Isabaev and Nurtai Abykayev have contributed greatly to the expansion and strengthening of full-scale ties between the countries.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the important role of first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, who made an invaluable contribution to the formation of strong friendship between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
He also noted the role of the current President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Kyrgyz president assured that Kyrgyzstan will adhere to the former direction to deepen and expand the full range of cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Thus, Nurtai Abykaev was awarded the Dostuk Order and Beibit Isabaev the Dank Medal for their significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as in connection with the 30th anniversary of independence of the two countries.
The Kyrgyz leader congratulated the awardees and wished them good health and success in their activities.
Nurtai Abykayev and Beibit Isabaev expressed gratitude for the high awards, noting the interest of the Kazakh side to continue the fruitful cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
