BAKU: YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites participants to delve deeper into how we communicate with ourselves and others at this year’s Museum Night, taking place on October 12th. Based on topics from previous editions-understanding our inner worlds and accepting our surroundings-this year’s event will emphasize how we express our thoughts, emotions, and challenges through various forms of communication.

Ilhama Babayeva’s Sound Therapy

Under Ilhama Babayeva’s guidance, the workshop will include:

– Lecture on Sound Therapy and Singing Bowls

– Sound Therapy session

– Vocal Yoga

– ‘QandA’

– Mantra singing

Participants will learn how to reach a meditative state through sound, release suppressed emotions, and establish healthy communication.

This masterclass invites participants to explore the subjectivity of individual experience and perception. Working in pairs, participants will portray the emotions presented to them from their own perspectives, then share and discuss how the same
feelings can be perceived differently. This process promotes mutual understanding and encourages better acceptance of others.
