A delegation of 22 people arrived in Kyrgyzstan from Turkey, headed by the head of the OSTIM industrial zone Orhan Aydin and the head of the OSTIM Technical University Murat Yulek.

According to the Ministry of Investments, the Turkish side proposed to open an industrial and production zone in Kyrgyzstan and expressed its intention to jointly take the necessary steps to launch projects in Kyrgyzstan.

An agreement was also reached to open a joint Kyrgyz-Turkish development institute, which will become a source for achieving the above goals.

Following the meeting, bilateral Memoranda on exchange programs were signed between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov and Technical University OSTIM.

In the afternoon, the Turkish delegation will visit the free economic zone (FEZ) “Bishkek” to get acquainted with its activities. As part of the visit to the FEZ “Bishkek”, the current experience will be studied and issues of further cooperation will be discussed.
