TASHKENT: A unified online platform for purchasing tickets for planes, trains and buses will be introduced in Uzbekistan by December 1, 2024, Trend reports.
This is provided for by the Presidential Decree ‘On additional measures aimed at developing tourism infrastructure in the Republic of Uzbekistan and increasing the flow of foreign tourists.’
According to the decree, the platform will offer users information about available flights and the ability to purchase tickets for air, rail and bus services.
The President instructed the Ministry of Transport to introduce a system of pre-sale of tickets at differentiated prices, which will be available at least six months before the departure date.
