Opening of Russian migration centers in Bishkek and Osh discussed in Moscow

On March 4, 2022, as part of the official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev to Russia, a meeting was held between Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan A.Imangaziev and the leadership of the Sakharovo Multifunctional Migration Center.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the meeting, Imangaziyev got acquainted with the procedure for passing a medical examination, fingerprint registration and photography of foreign citizens. He asked to create favorable conditions for citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to undergo the necessary procedures.

The opening of Russian migration centers in Bishkek and Osh was also discussed, presumably until the summer of 2022.

The management of the Sakharovo expressed its readiness to consider the possibility of increasing the throughput in Sector “M”, where a medical examination is carried out.

At the same time, it was noted that for citizens of the EAEU member countries, including the Kyrgyz Republic, a separate entrance “2A” is provided.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to conduct joint information and explanatory work with the population, continue consultations on opening a migration center in Kyrgyzstan.
