The mobile medical complex provided to Kyrgyzstan through the Islamic Development Bank will start free medical examination from November.

The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said that currently the preparatory work is underway to launch clinics, free medical examinations of patients.

From Sept. 24 to Oct. 4, the delegation of the Islamic Development Bank, together with the Norwegian company Normeca AS, conducted a study tour to the regions (Chui, Issyk-Kul, Osh and Batken regions) to determine the location of mobile medical clinics.

Currently, customs clearance of transport, registration of vehicles in the name of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic has been completed, and legal issues on the ownership and use of these mobile clinics have been agreed with the Islamic Development Bank.

The project is designed for 5 years, and the IDB will provide the work of the mobile clinic with appropriate medicines, equipment and fuel, and the doctors – with salaries.

The mobile clinic includes rooms for doctors, a laboratory for analysis, a computed tomography and mammography, an operating unit, an X-ray unit, a gastroscope, a mobile screening center and a control center. Also, the mobile clinics have minibuses for transporting the population, including a class C ambulance car.
