Ministry of Digital Development included in structure of Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree “On amendments to some decisions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic”, the press service of the head of state reported.

This Decree introduces an amendment to the Presidential Decree “On the structure and composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the structure of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic” dated Oct. 12, 2021.

The decree provides for the inclusion of the Ministry of Digital Development in the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to develop and implement state policy in the field of digitalization and e-government.

Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers consisting of chairman, four deputy chairmen and 15 ministers was formed after the previous Cabinet was dismissed by the president on Oct. 12, 2021.

However, the Ministry of Digital Development, which was in the structure of the previous Cabinet was not included in the new Cabinet of Ministers.
