On 26 September 2024 under the initiative and with participation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in New York, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, APA reports citing MFA press service.
“The parties agreed to put additional efforts towards the conclusion of the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations in the shortest possible period.
The Azerbaijani and Armenian sides expressed their gratitude to the Secretary of State for organizing the meeting,” noted in the press release.

A meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will take place today in New York at 10:15 local time (18:15 Baku time) with the initiative and participation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Noted that the heads of the Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia are visiting the United States to participate in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
