The number of polling stations for compatriots abroad has been increased, Aibek Artykbayev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
In preparation for the parliamentary elections, the number of polling stations abroad has increased from 48 to 57.
Thus, at the upcoming elections the Kyrgyz citizens, if they are included in the voter lists in advance, will be able to vote not only in the cities where foreign institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic are located, but also in New York and Chicago (USA), Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy), Antalya (Turkey), Kazan, Samara, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Tomsk (Russia).
Kyrgyzstan’s parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 28, 2021.
