Kyrgyz confectioner becomes best pastry chef in Russia and won 1 million rubles

Anara Murzakulova, a Kyrgyz confectioner from Moscow, won the superfinal of the fifth anniversary season of the Confectioner TV project.

She made a cake, which she called “Sea Wave”, 102 cm high and weighing over 13 kg.

The jury members were impressed by the cream that contained wasabi.

“Just a bomb. This is the first time in my life when I feel wasabi in such an amount, it just seems to my heart,” said the host of the program, pastry chef Renat Agzamov, having tasted Anara’s cake.

The winner was awarded a golden whisk and 1 million rubles.
