A solemn ceremony of presenting credentials by Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Dyushekeev to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was held today in Nur-Sultan, at the Akorda residence.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the ceremony, Dyushekeev conveyed greetings from President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Kazakh President Tokayev.
Also, within the framework of a press briefing after the ceremony, Dyushekeev noted that in his work he intends to develop mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the two countries on the basis of good-neighborliness, mutual understanding and comprehensive cooperation.
In turn, in his solemn speech, Tokayev emphasized the importance of strategic partnership with Kyrgyzstan. In particular, he noted that the results of the visit of Kyrgyz President Zhaparov to Kazakhstan in March of this year serve as the main reference point in expanding cooperation.
In addition, the head of Kazakhstan confirmed his intention to pay a return visit to Bishkek in early 2022.
At the end of the event, President of Kazakhstan Tokayev conveyed his best wishes to his Kyrgyz counterpart Zhaparov.
